                                                  About You

Not a cloud in the sky

Sun is shining down

Leaves of green, gold and red

Falling to the ground

Falling to the ground

I went walking yesterday

Rain came pouring down

Feels cold and lonely here

When you're not around

When you're not around

Since you've been gone,  don't know what to do

Sittin' around playing it cool

Since you've been gone, don't know what to do

Playin' my guitar, thinkin' about you

Playin' my guitar, thinkin' about you

When I look into the night

Moonlight from above

Times like these I realize

I need your love

I need your love

Since you've been gone, don't know what to do

Sittin' around playing it cool

Since you've been gone, don't know what to do

Playin' my guitar, thinkin' about you

Playin' my guitar, thinkin' about you.

                                                Fire In The Stove

Saved a lot of money

 I wouldn't go

With everyone

Down to Mexico

It sure is cold, out here shoveling snow

Back inside, light a fire in the stove

When I get some money

I know where I will go

Travel coast to coast

See friends I know

We'll get together

Sing songs we wrote

Gather 'round, light a fire in the stove

Sing songs 'til the morning light

Tell stories of days gone by

Get together, light a fire in the stove

When I get some money

I know where I will go

Travel coast to coast

See friends I know

Life isn't easy

Livin' out there on the road

Gather 'round, light a fire in the stove

Sing songs 'till the morning light

Tell stories of days gone by

Get together, light a fire in the stove

Sing songs 'til morning light

Tell stories of days gone by

Get together, light a fire in the stove.

                                                    Sally Likes Shoes

Sally likes shoes
Shoes are good for her
Help her get around
When she's on her feet
Sally likes shoes but they fall apart
Running around, chasing her heart
When shoes are old
Seen better days
She'll take them off,  throw them away
Buy two more pair

Kyle likes cars
Cars are good for him
Help him drive around
To people he'll see
Kyle likes cars but they fall apart
Polluting the air, chasing his heart
When cars are old
Rusting away
Phone the junkyard, tow them away
Sell there parts

Patty likes planes
Planes are good for her
Help her fly around
Easy as can be
Patty likes planes
At thirty-thousand feet
In the jet stream
There goes her heart
When planes are old they stay on the ground
Cut them up, melt them down
Make aluminium foil...and barbecues

I love you
You mean a lot to me
I dream of  you
When I'm asleep
I love you
I won't fall apart
Running around, chasing your heart
When we're old, fading away
Hold my hand, let the music play
A happy song
Goes like this (whistle)

                                                  Sing Your Name

I was sitting there
 All alone with my guitar
Singin' a song about a love so true
Waiting there for you

I was sitting there
All alone in my chair
Waiting by the phone for a call
To say when you arrived

When I heard the telephone ring
My heart began to sing
When the voice I love said your name

Aisha, I can sing your name
Your name will chase away the rain
Sun will shine again

I was sitting there
All alone in my car
Driving down the highway to you
So I could hold you in my arms

Aisha I can sing your name
Your name will chase away the rain
Sun will shine again

Aisha I can sing your name
Your name will chase away the rain
I can sing again

Sing your name
Sing your name
Your name will chase away the rain
I can sing again
Sing your name
Sing your name
Sing your name
