Biography:

Brian Hanson got his start in the music world with rock bands in the 60’s and 70’s as lead guitarist, vocalist and business manager. Subsequently, he attended the University of Alberta graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and has since owned, managed and sold successful businesses. With time now available, Brian is focusing on opportunities in the music industry.
In the 80’s he met Dan Kameka, and together they formed a song writing duo and hobby band “Nu Palace Café”. These friends shared a deep love of music and a passion for song writing. Working from their home based digital and analog studio, they created, engineered, produced and performed their first 13 song CD "Promises Never Last”. Work then commenced on a second album. However, due to the development of internet sites such as Napster and LimeWire, Brian and Dan made a business decision to refrain from releasing their music. The time was not conducive for profits to be made. Over the years Brian and Dan studied and listened extensively to music of many genres, all the while continuing to play and write songs. Their music can be classified as light rock, pop, and country, with a possible potential market for movies, television or a publisher looking for a song or group of songs for an existing or developing act.
Given the present climate in the music industry, Brian and Dan now wish to move ahead to market their music with a view to profit. They are committed to finding a publisher and/or the best means to market their accumulated and future works.
