Candice Sand - Bring Me to Life

Verse #1:
Do you believe in all those love stories?
Now I do too (ooh ooh ooh)
Can’t wait to wake up with you on a Sunday morning
Sun peaking through (ooh ooh ooh)

But don’tcha doubt I've been thinking about
the sound of your voice, can’t live without
Say that you’re mine, tell me it’s fine
for us to walk down that line

Pre-Chorus:
Something changes when you’re there
you're the one, I swear

Chorus:
I never felt this way because
I was afraid to let you inside
Now I just can't let this go by
It’s some kind of feeling
You bring me to life
You bring me to life
You bring me to li-i-i-ife
You bring me to life
You bring me to life
You bring me to li-i-i-ife
ya, you bring me to life

Verse #2:
My heart is pounding cause you’re standing next to me
But you see through (ooh ooh ooh)
You grab my hand, don’t ever let me go baby
Dreams do come true (ooh ooh ooh)

But don’tcha doubt I've been thinking about
the sound of your voice can’t live without
Say that you’re mine, tell me it’s fine
for us to walk down that line

Pre-Chorus:

Chorus:

Bridge:
Your eyes smiling at me
(You bring me to life)
Your hand brushes my cheek
(You bring me to life)
You call me your sweet baby
(You bring me to life)
You got me laughing and dancing in the street
Oh Oh what a feeling

Out-Chorus:

Candice Sand - Go On (feat JRDN)

Verse 1:
So tired of knocking on the door
Sick of staring at the floor
Tryin’ hard to lift your head up
Keep holding out for something more
So tired of always hearing no
And tryin hard to be strong
When everyday you’re getting’ beat up
But you gotta keep marching on

Pre-Chorus:
It’s so easy to
Give up and be through
But there’s a winner in you
So what you need to do is get up and go on

Chorus:
We can do anything
It’s never gonna be the same
When you’re trying to reach your dreams
When you get knocked down get up and go on
We can do anything
It’s never gonna be the same
When we’re trying to reach our dreams
When we get knocked down get up and go on

Verse 2:
Bills are comin ‘everyday
But you ain’t got enough to pay
Tryin so hard to save up
But you can never get ahead
When everything is goin’ wrong
Come and listen to this song
Cause we all need a helping hand
Sometimes to keep on holding on

Pre-Chorus:

Chorus:

Bridge:
Hear that cry deep inside
Can’t deny makes you try for the finish (Oh I’ll see you at the finish)
Things can change rearrange
All the pain falls away in one minute (In one minute)
Fix your eyes to the sky
On the prize of your life you can win it (Oh I know that you can win it)
Please know you can win it

Chorus (out):
(ad libs:
On and on and on
Don’t waste a minute
Fight the finish
You can win it
When we get knocked down get up and go on
When we get knocked down get up and go on
Don’t waste a minute
Fight the finish
You can win it
When we get knocked down get up and go on)

Candice Sand - Oh Darling (This Is Love)

Verse:
Don’t know how we got here
But he’s in my space
As he moves in closer
Hold every breath I take

The city streets fall silent
The feel of fingers interlaced
My head on his shoulder
The lamp light on his face

Pre-Chorus:
So play that track again
Let’s slow it down and breathe it in
Don’t let this flawless moment end
Please give me some more time

Chorus:
Oh darling, sweet darling
I know this is love
The way we are, this is love
Oh darling, sweet darling
The way you touch me this is love
Can feel that this is love?
This is love

Verse #2:
Don’t know what will happen
When the world awakes
Can we cling to heaven
Or will it slip away

Right now we’ve found perfection
Can’t stand hear the clock tick
Pay it no attention
And we can hold onto this

Pre-Chorus:

Chorus:

Biography:

Pop/R&B Recording Artist, Songwriter, and #FlowerChild creating music to touch the heart and move the body. A blend of Nastasha Bedingfield and Alicia Keys.

Candice Sand has followed an interesting road leading her from her tiny hometown of Melville, Saskatchewan to Toronto, Ontario. She began singing at 8 years old when she sang a solo (“Puff the Magic Dragon”) in an elementary school play. Continuing on throughout her childhood, she received numerous singing awards and constant encouragement from teachers and mentors. Eventually, her love for music carried her to Brandon University’s Faculty of Music where she studied Opera, and later to Grant MacEwan College’s Vocal Performance program (in Edmonton, Alberta) where she studied Jazz and all contemporary styles of music (Pop, R&B, Rock, Blues, Country).

After graduation, Candice relocated to Toronto with the aim of fully immersing herself in the Canadian music industry. She immediately began performing throughout the GTA and soon enough she decided she wanted her own voice to be heard. She began writing with several songwriters from all over Canada and the US (Toronto, Vancouver, Newfoundland, Nashville, and Los Angeles).

Late in 2012 Candice received two “Demo & Commercially Released Single” grants from FACTOR Canada and she immediately teamed up with the Grammy/Juno nominated multiplatinum writing and production team Kuya Productions Inc (know best for their work with multiplatinum Canadian R&B artist JRDN).

Together, Candice and the Kuya Productions team dedicated 2013 to co-writing and recording her debut EP. They released Candice’s debut single “I Got This” on iTunes in April 2013, paired with the release of the official lyric video (April 2013) and official music video (July 2013). The videos received thousands of views and following a tremendous amount of positive feedback from fans and industry professionals.

As they move forward, they are busy planning the marketing and release of the debut EP #AgainstConcreteWalls (July 2014). Most recently, they released Candice's 2nd single from the forthcoming EP (“Go On” ft JRDN), paired with the release of the official music video supported by MuchFact/MuchMusic. The video is currently being featured on MuchMusic.com and aired on Juicebox TV.

The EP is set for release July 29th and there is a lot more on the way leading up to it. Stay tuned and watch out for this girl… so much more to come!
