Biography:
FRAZER (born August 3, 1988) is a Canadian singer and songwriter. Frazer studied under renowned vocalist Elaine Overholt and, by the time he was sixteen, had ranked within the top 100 on Canadian Idol. While majoring in Pop Music at the University of Western Ontario, Frazer performed to sold out crowds, at venues like The Sound Academy and Alumni Hall, as the lead singer of Pink Floyd Tribute band ‘PULSE.’ Frazer is also credited for creating and performing the branding song for Ovarian Cancer Canada, “Let’s Walk for the Cure”, which has been featured on nation-wide radio advertisements.
His talents, however, extend far beyond singing and songwriting. As a child and adolescent, Frazer was very involved in the film and television industry, having acted alongside Patrick Dempsey, Jason Priestly, Elizabeth Perkins, and Burt Reynolds, among others.
Last year, “Green Light,” a track from his pop solo album “SMOKESHOW,” earned Frazer the title of Grand Prize Winner in the pop category of the 2011 internationally renowned John Lennon Songwriting Contest (JLSC). This year, his songs "Goodbye" and "Walk of Shame" were both selected as finalists in the pop category of the 2012 JLSC. Frazer has also recently been nominated for a 2012 Toronto Independent Music Award.
Listen out for Frazer’s two singles, “Walk of Shame” and "Addicted," which can both be heard on top40 radio stations across Canada!
