Wrecking Ball

Mr. Perfect
You’ve got everyone convinced.
Of your charm and your swagger your definite glare
And your dedication to this…
But you don’t carry the weight on your shoulders
The shackles of guilt cannot be found
You’re a good man with good intentions,
So why’d you go and knock me down?

Chorus
You’re a wrecking ball
And you wrecked me
And you won’t even acknowledge
What you’ve done here

(Verse Two)
Mr. Unsure
Have we learned from mistakes?
You can love me tomorrow but hide me today
Then drive a 100 K just to hug my waist
And those desperate calls at 4 in the morning
Trouble my soul and keep me awake
You’re a good man in a messed up situation
Keep banging my walls, you beat ‘til they break

(Chorus)

(Bridge)
Now the sheets are stained with the traces you left
I refuse to wash them cause I’ll miss it too much
When they’re gone,
This bed will never smell like you again

(Chorus)

Biography:

“A girl who can pull at your heart strings, with a dash of sass.”

Toronto singer/diva wannabe/songwriter, Jessica Fodor, is no stranger to the world of music. She has been writing and performing her original work since the age of thirteen drawing from anything to life experiences, stories told by friends or strangers, to random objects on the road. She has been an active musician in the local Toronto music circuit. Playing shows all over Ontario and even a few in New York. She performed at the Honey Jam showcase in 2007, as well as winning several music competitions and contests over the years. Jessica is also an active member of the S.A.C (Songwriter’s Association of Canada) participating in several workshops (i.e. Songposium 2012, Vocals 101, etc) and songwriter’s groups.

Over the last four years she has spent on the road performing strictly as a children’s entertainer, which has taken her from coast to coast to such exhibitions as the Calgary Stampede, Capital Ex, even the CNE. During that time she spent in and out of the studio working with long-time friend, songwriter and producer, Jory Berger (Upstairs Music Studio). Now she has decided to go back to her roots and begin working on a full- length album of original material collected over the years on the road. She will be commencing her work with the talented producer and songwriter, Karen Kosowski, who has worked with such artists as Emma-Lee, Tia Brazda, Julie C, Chad Doucette and Dotan. Ms Fodor is extremely excited to begin her new project and hopefully taking the Canadian Music Indie scene by storm!
