Biography:

Jessy Lindsay is a young upcoming singer/songwriter from Ottawa, Ontario. In both French and English, she touches various audiences with her unique voice and honest lyrics. She accompanies herself on the piano and guitar and attends De La Salle High School in the vocal program. Mentored by Tara Shannon, owner of WS Records, Jessy writes folk/pop songs that show maturity beyond her years. In August 2016, she released her latest single “It’ll Be Mine.” The song was a semi-finalist in the teen category of the 2016 International Songwriting Competition. In summer 2017, her band "Horizon" won the gold medal in the music catagory at the Franco-Canadien Games in Moncton, NB. Jessy has always had a passion for music and she loves nothing more than to share it with others.

Jessy Lindsay, une jeune artiste franco-ontarienne, a découvert sa passion pour la création musicale à un très jeune âge. Native d’Ottawa, elle a écrit/coécrit plusieurs chansons en français et en anglais. Elle joue ses compositions d'un style folk/pop en s'accompagnant à la guitare et au piano. En 2016, elle est allée au Camp chanson de Petite-Vallée pour le séjour d'auteurs-compositeurs-interprètes de 13-17 ans avec Daran. Jessy est présentement dans la concentration vocal du Centre d’Exellence Artistique de l’Ontario à l’école secondaire De La Salle. Au festival Quand Ça Nous Chante 2017, elle a remporté deux prix de coup de coeur. En été 2017, son groupe Horizon a remporté la médaille d’or aux Jeux de la francophonie canadienne à Moncton.
