Biography:

Joyce Grennan - Singer/Songwriter has been writing songs since she was 11 years old, picked up the guitar when she was 14 years old, started performing live at a young age and continues to write songs. Influenced by Motown, Linda Ronstadt, R&B, Country and Jazz. Joyce is a prolific songwriter and hopes one day that she will have a #1 hit song on Billboard. Her writing style is Country Pop. She is a prolific singer/songwriter and a veteran around the Vancouver scene, however, is originally from New Brunswick where she was brought up on country music. She comes from a musical family. She moved out to BC and travelled across western Canada with a Show Band and has worked with musicians such as Rocket Norten, John Hall and Al Harlow from the band Prism she sang with these guys in a band called “The Buzz” and another 12 pc band called Rocket Norten R&B. A very versatile vocalist and can sing Jazz, Country, Gospel, Pop, Rock and R&B. She went and spent some time down in Nashville TN to hone in on the craft of songwriting and she now has a few songs published in Nashville. Some of the writers Joyce has co-written with are Larry Wayne Clark "It Scares Me", Roger Dilon "Out of Love" (Roger wrote the song Sticks and Stones for Tracy Lawrence), Stephanie Brown "My Heart Won't Talk", Stephanie had a cut on one of Garth Brooks album, and has written with Karen Pell who was a staff writer for Reba McIntyre, Jeff Pearson who host the Sunday Night writers show at the Blue Bird Café. Joyce loves to collaborate with writers and also writes alone but the process in songwriting seems to be faster when she collaborates.
