Lauryn Macfarlane is a rising Canadian artist and songwriter. Hailing from a small town in rural Ontario, Lauryn was raised in a community that highly valued the arts and was encouraged to delve into her self-expression through music from a very young age. Lauryn is recognized as a prolific story teller, drawing inspiration from her own life and through her intense empathy for others. Known for her honest songwriting, powerful voice and irresistible melodies. Musical influences such as Jade Bird, Alanis Moresette, The Dixie Chicks, Kacey Musgraves and Chris Stapleton have all had a huge role in the development of Lauryns sound.

Opening for such acts as JJ and The Pillars, Heaps (Formally The Kents), Kane Miller and NEFE, all audiences agree, there is something so raw and intimate about Lauryns live performance. Guests walk away with the feeling that they have fallen on one of Canadas secret gems, and never fail to express how they have witnessed something truly special.

In the fall of 2019, Lauryn decided to make the move to Montreal, Quebec Canada where she has been working alongside producer/engineer Sam Woywitka (Luca Fogale, Sam Lynch) and musicians Isaac Symonds (Half Moon Run) Mishka Stein (Patrick Watson) and Robbie Kuster (Patrick Watson) on her debut EP.
