Biography:

I made my living as a singer in Vancouver back in the 1980s, and always got good feedback on my songwriting (e.g., from Jerry Renewych at Warner/Chappell, who told me to send him "everything I had" and the head of A&M's Vancouver A&R dept, who thought everything I wrote was "a hit"), but never had the extra funds to re-demo them to the required level.

After having left music for writing, editing, and teaching, I am now intent on getting music back into my life, and my life back into music. I still have ideas for new songs, of almost every genre, all the time, and did manage to do a decent demo of a couple of them recently. I want to sell them, and write more, especially for soundtracks. (I also write screenplays and novels--unproduced/unpublished, so far, but that's another area I'm making a determined push into.)
