Biography:

Owner of Nelson's Music store for 20 years. Now own and operate a small indie recording studio and music publishing company with over 150 original songs in our growing catalogue.

Nelson's Music was formed to record, promote and distribute the music of local artists.

We have to date recorded 3 albums: "Just Me" by Bob Nelson, "Heartsongs" by Sherman Sheldon, and "From Out of the Blue" by Sherman Sheldon.

We have two more albums in the works: "Just About There" by Dave Gallant and an album of all original works by Sherman Sheldon entitled "It Ain't Rock."

About our Process
In the traditional recording process the artist buys as many hours of studio time as they feel they will need. They go into the studio and record their album and when it's done they have a CD. If there are things they wish they could change they just have to live with it or pay a lot of money to re-record.

Our process differs because we partner with the artist on a project. At the end of each recording session we burn a CD for the artist to take with them and live with for a few days. When they come back we make any fixes they want, record new parts, remix and burn a new CD that they again get to live with, and so the process goes until they are happy with the result.

This process produces recordings that truly are a reflection of the artist's vision for each song.
