Here's to the 3-minute art form!

Sounds Like:

Eric Clapton

Influences:

Started with Lennon/McCartney, worked backward to Irving Berlin, forward to Chad Kroeger, and everyone in between!

Favourite Singer/Songwriter:

Lennon/McCartney still impress me.

Great Big Lives To Live

I FOUND A FRIEND THAT RAINY TUESDAY IN FIRST GRADE
YOU SMILED AND ASKED ME FOR A SIP OF LEMONADE
WE SHARED YOUR SANDWICH, WHITE BREAD WITH RHUBARB JAM
AND SINCE THAT DAY, WE'VE FELT NO NEED TO BE AFRAID
'CAUSE WE'VE GOT

GREAT BIG LIVES TO LIVE
GREAT BIG LIVES TO LIVE
WE DON'T CARE WHAT PEOPLE SAY
WE'RE GONNA OWN THIS WORLD SOMEDAY
GREAT BIG LIVES TO LIVE

ON YOUR FOURTEENTH BIRTHDAY YOU SNUCK OUT OF YOUR ROOM
I HAD SWIPED A SIX-PACK FROM MY DAD THAT AFTERNOON
DOWN BY THE RIVER, WE LAY THERE ALL NIGHT LONG
AND MADE OUR TRAVELLING PLANS BENEATH THE SILENT MOON
'CAUSE WE'VE GOT

GREAT BIG LIVES TO LIVE
GREAT BIG LIVES TO LIVE
WE DON'T CARE WHAT PEOPLE SAY
WE'RE GONNA OWN THIS WORLD SOMEDAY
GREAT BIG LIVES TO LIVE

THEY SAY WE'RE TOO YOUNG TO SEE
JUST HOW HARD THIS WORLD CAN BE
THEY MAY BE RIGHT, WE'LL NEVER KNOW
UNTIL WE ROLL THE DICE AND GO

LIFE IS RIPE FOR US TO GRAB, DON'T NEED TO ASK PERMISSION
WILL WE BE MOVIE STARS OR ROCK & ROLL MUSICIANS?
IT'S OUT THERE WAITING, WE'RE GONNA CHASE THAT DREAM
IN THIS OLD CHEVY WITH THE BROKEN DOWN TRANSMISSION
WE'VE GOT

GREAT BIG LIVES TO LIVE
GREAT BIG LIVES TO LIVE
WE DON'T CARE WHAT PEOPLE SAY
WE'RE GONNA OWN THIS WORLD SOMEDAY
GREAT BIG LIVES TO LIVE

Laid Back Lover

Well I got a pretty woman, she's oh so sweet and kind
Well there's just one thing get to worryin' my mind
She like to take it easy, restin' all the time

I say Girl it's time to party, come on let's go downtown
She said I ain't up for that late night runnin' around
I'm gonna stay right home, you know I'd really rather just lie down

She's my laid back lover, she's my laid back lover
She's my laid back lover, she's my laid back lover
She's my laid back lover, she knows how to love her man

She got bedroom eyes keepin' me where I belong
Kinda cute, kinda cuddly, and she don't see nothin' wrong
With wearin' pretty little pink pyjamas all day long

If I catch her nappin', say what's come over you?
She just look at me and tell me there's room in this bed for two
Boy, get under these covers, let's see what we can do

Last Day In Disneyland

You been runnin' around like a kid in a candy store
Ain’t gonna be your sugar daddy any more
There’s gonna be some changes 'cause I made me a brand new plan
I’m through with you baby, please try to understand
This is your last day in Disneyland

You had yourself a party, runnin’ around all night
Spendin' all my money - what gives you the right?
You know you ain’t no princess and this ain’t no never-never land
I'm sick and tired of bein' your candy man
This is your last day in Disneyland

I got a brand new lover to keep me satisfied
‘Cause I’m sick and tired of bein’ taken for a ride
Your ridin' days are over, please try to understand
Much as I hate to spoil your little plan
This is your last day in Disneyland
