I'm Doing Pretty Good

Verse 1:
Life was a living hell when you were around
Every word you said was a piercing sound
Thoughts weighing in the back of my mind, but no words came out
And as I let time slip by there was nowhere but down

Pre-Chorus 1:
But I never thought that it’d be you who’d be so lost
And I never thought that it’d be me, sayin’

Chorus:
I’m doing pretty good, good, good, good, good
I’m doing pretty good, good, good, good, good
I’m doing pretty good, good, good, good, good
I’m doing pretty good, good, good, good, good
Without you, without you, without you

Verse 2:
You always strut around like you knew it all
But you’re drowning in lies, take off the disguise before you hit another wall
I’m flying like a bird so high while you’re so stuck way down low
Reality is your enemy, do you think that we don’t know?

Pre-Chorus 2:
And I never thought that it’d be you falling through
And if you ask me how I am, I’m sayin’

Chorus:
I’m doing pretty good, good, good, good, good
I’m doing pretty good, good, good, good, good
I’m doing pretty good, good, good, good, good
I’m doing pretty good, good, good, good, good
Without you, without you, without you

Bridge:
Never thought that I could find a way without you
In my life, in my life
Never thought that I could carry on without you
By my side, and I

Pre-Chorus 3:
I never thought that it'd be me, sayin'

Chorus:
I’m doing pretty good, good, good, good, good
I’m doing pretty good, good, good, good, good
I’m doing pretty good, good, good, good, good
I’m doing pretty good, good, good, good, good
Without you, without you, without you

I’m doing pretty good, good, good, good, good
I’m doing pretty good, good, good, good, good
I’m doing pretty good, good, good, good, good
I’m doing pretty good, good, good, good, good
Without you, without you, without you

If Only You Knew

Verse 1:
It all began, when we first met
You caught my eye, by surprise
I couldn't help, but smile every time you walked by
Even though we just met, inside I get butterflies

Chorus:
If only you knew I was in love
With you (in love, in love)
If only you knew I was the one
That was crushin' so much on you
We can run away together
Make it through all kinds of weather
If only you knew I was in love
With you, with you
Yeah you

(In love, in love, in love, in love)
If only you knew
(In love, in love, in love, in love)

Verse 2:
My heart beats faster, every time I see your face
Just hearing your voice, it makes my day
(Ooo)

Chorus:
If only you knew I was in love
With you (in love, in love)
If only you knew I am the one
That would do everything for you
We can watch the stars together
Make promises to last forever
If only you knew I was in love
With you, with you
Yeah you

(In love, in love, in love, in love
In love, in love, in love, in love)

If only you knew I was in love, with you
If only you knew I was in love
(If only you knew)

Chorus:
If only you knew I was in love
With you (in love, in love)
If only you knew I was the one
That was crushin' so much on you
We can run away together
Make it through all kinds of weather
If only you knew I was in love
With you, with you

We can watch the stars together
Make promises to last forever
If only you knew I was in love
With you, with you
With you, with you
With you, with you
Yeah you

Trapped In Your Grasp

Verse 1:
I've been waiting
For this day
For this moment, that I can
Say what I need to say

Pre-Chorus:
That it's you holds me back
From who I want to be
It's not my fault this ended
If only you could see

Chorus:
That I don't got time
For my mind, to dwell in the past
So tonight I'll say bye
To the things that kept me trapped
In your grasp

Verse 2:
You get wrapped up
In negativity
And that's all on you
It was never me

Pre-Chorus:
And it's you holds me back
From who I want to be
It's not my fault this ended
If only you could see

Biography:

With a catchy fusion of acoustic pop and R&B, complimented with smooth vocals and layered harmonies, Toronto-based musician-singer-songwriter Ryan Flores brings forward the vibes of pop music from the late 1990s and early 2000s. Realizing that music was a great platform to share a message, Ryan started writing his own music, managing to combine personal life stories and authentic feelings with carefully crafted melodies in hopes that listeners could relate to his words.

Ryan's music is mainly inspired by the catchy pop music of the late 1990s and early 2000s, which was the genre of music he listened to while growing up. Heavy influences on his music include BBMak, Ben Rector, Jesse Barrera, Melissa Polinar and Tori Kelly. Furthermore, he grew up listening to the musical interests of his father, which include The Eagles, Elton John, The Beatles, and Bon Jovi. Although Ryan's interest in music was met with some resistance along the way, he continued to pursue it regardless of what other people thought of it.

Ryan released his debut single, "If Only You Knew", in August of 2012 on major digital music retailers. Shortly after, he released his second single "Summer Fun", and then his third single "I'm Doing Pretty Good" the next year. He released his first extended play album in December of 2014, entitled "Wayfarer", with 6 original tracks, and including a re-produced version of his first single "If Only You Knew".

As a graduate of Seneca College's Independent Music Production program, Ryan credits much of his development as an artist to this unique 8-month crash course on how to be an independent artist, garnering knowledge and skills in songwriting, production, marketing, and business.
