Community Health Nurse
Sharon Worth is a singer, songwriter who grew up on a farm near Vauxhall, Alberta.
From a young age, Sharon enjoyed music and performing, but her songwriting did not develop until at age 40 when she tragically experienced the death of a family member through suicide. It was during this dark time that she put her head down on the piano and her grief was unexpectedly expressed through music. Since then, God’s gift of music has continued to be an expression of her deepest emotions.
Currently practicing as a public health nurse in Calgary, her folk style of music embraces her life experiences and values, in both the celebrations and in the trials we daily face. Using a combination of various styles and rhythms, her music is enjoyed by young and old.
In 2001 and again in 2005, Sharon completed a C.D. of original songs, which have been inspirational to people in various venues. Her songs have touched lives individually and in groups. As an experienced presenter, her commentary on these songs adds another dimension to her performance. Sharon would like to invite you to share in a memorable
journey as she shares her music with you.
