I Love You Cause You Make Me Feel Loved

It’s not just the feelings that you give me when you kiss me
It’s not just the way you make me smile
It’s not just the way you call me baby, it drives me crazy trying to
Describe your hold on me, Can’t you see?

There’s so many reasons why I love you, like the way you tease me
If I could pick just one, it’d have to be
I love you ‘cause you make me feel loved

It’s not just your cheesy taste in movies, from the 80s
It’s not just the way you hold me tight
It’s not just the way you never fail me when I say I need a kiss
Goodnight, Goodnight

There’s so many reasons why I love you, like the way you tease me
If I could pick just one, it’d have to be
I love you ‘cause you make me feel loved
I love you ‘cause you make me feel loved

And if you ever grow tired of my love, you don’t have to stay ‘cause
Love’s only real if it’s going both ways, both ways

There’s so many reasons why I love you, like the way you tease me
If I could pick just one, it’d have to be
I love you ‘cause you make me feel loved
I love you ‘cause you make me feel loved
I love you ‘cause you make me feel loved
I love you ‘cause you make me feel loved

I Want You All The Time

I want you all the time (all the time!)
All the time (all the time!)

I want you in the morning when I don’t feel quite right
I want you when the sun goes down at night (I want you all the time, yeah all the fucking time!)

And all throughout the day I think about you realizing
That I want you more than any other guy

I’ve tried a couple times to tell you
But each time resigned
To my corner
Unsure if I’m reading this right

But now, I’ll say this to you girl
I want to make you mine
You’re curled up in my mind
The words aren’t hard to find
I want you all the time (all the time!)
All the time (all the time!)

I want you in the evening when I’m out of my mind
I want you when I lay down to unwind (I want you all the time, yeah all the fucking time!)
I’ve tried a couple times to tell you
But each time resigned
To my corner
Unsure if I’m reading this right

But now, I’ll say this to you girl
I want to make you mine
You’re curled up in my mind
The words aren’t hard to find
I want you all the time

Time, oh I’ve wasted many weeks
Trying to muster up some words that I can speak
To make you think of me
As something on the brink of being free
I hope one day you’ll see
That you and I may just be meant to be

So now, I’ll say this to you girl
I want to make you mine
You’re curled up in my mind
The words aren’t hard to find
I want you all the time
You all the time
(Time!) You all the time
(Time!) You all the time

I Want You All The Time!

If I Ever Do You Wrong

If I ever do you wrong
I will try to turn back time
To take back the words I’ve said to you
If I ever do you wrong

If I ever make you cry
I’ll be sure to make it right
I’ll apologize and I’ll learn my lesson too
If I ever make you cry

Life comes down to chance, and into mine you rolled in
Will you hold my hand through the thick and thin?
Will your love shine bright and strong
If I ever do you wrong?

Life comes down to chance, and into mine you rolled in
Will you hold my hand through the thick and thin?
Will your love shine bright and strong
If I ever do you wrong?

If you ever change your mind
I will search for hours to find
Some middle ground where we can see more eye to eye
If you ever change your mind

Will your love shine bright and strong
If I ever do you wrong?

Wait!

Wait! Where do I go if I get lost along the way?
Wait! Where do I go if I get lost along the way? Wait!

Woke up this morning and tumbled out of bed
Haven’t felt so good since you left
On my way to work I turned around
When I thought about what you said
“You keep on working yourself into the ground
So I’ve got to go now.”

Wait! Where do I go if I get lost along the way?
Wait! Where do I go if I get lost along the way? Wait!

Got home by seven, and put my feet up on the couch
I’ve got no job left to worry about
And why go back to school when I can teach myself?
That is, I might, because I’m filled with doubts

Wait! Where do I go if I get lost along the way?
Wait! Where do I go if I get lost along the way? Wait!

Wait, I need some time to think
Or rethink what I’m doing here
Am I just wasting time?
Where do I turn with

Please won’t you wait (Wait!)
Won’t you wait
Won’t you stay?
(Wait!) Won’t you wait?
Won’t you wait?

Wait! Where do I go if I get lost along the way?
Wait! Where do I go if I get lost along the way? Wait!
(Wait!) Where do I go if I get lost along the way?
Wait! Where do I go if I get lost along the way? Wait!
Wait! Where do I go if I get lost along the way?
Wait!

When I Saw Her Last

She’s sweet she makes me feel complete, I can’t help but want her
And I know I’m gonna love her more than any other man
Oh understand me when I say
I’m going to win her love someday

Yes she’ll be mine and we’ll spend our time
Making love
But for the moment I’m just hoping and I’m dreaming of
When I Saw Her Last
Oh let me take you back
To then

She stirred sugar in her coffee
And I told her all about me
While I just drank mine black
When I Saw Her Last
Oh how the time passed so
Unusually fast
When I Saw Her Last

She’s soft she makes me want to talk when I’m around her
And my thoughts just seem to wonder off to the place I saw her last
Oh when we sat and we laughed
With our hearts beating fast
Oh so fast

Soon they beat quicker
When I kissed her
And she kissed me back
When I Saw Her Last
When I Saw Her Last

Oh I got home to check my phone and read the news just in time
It said, “Please don’t leave your homes, you need to stay inside”
And now months have passed
Since I Saw Her Last (Saw Her Last!)

She’s sweet she makes me feel complete, I can’t help but want her
And I know I’m going to love her more than any of her men
Oh understand me when I say
I’m gonna win her love someday
Yes she’ll be mine!

Biography:

I am an independent songwriter, recording artist and producer based in Innisfil, Ontario. The first artist that hooked me was the Beatles; soon Bob Dylan and many other greats followed. I got inspired and practiced, a lot, and when practice began to feel too familiar I joined a rock and roll band named Lift Receiver as a guitarist. At 16, I was playing bars in the Greater Toronto Area (The Rec Room, Stonewalls and Corktown Pub among others) and learning what I did and didn’t like doing; I didn’t like singing, but I LOVED writing songs. As a musician that then couldn't read or write notation, I learned that I had no way of telling other singers how I wanted my songs sung. So I got over not wanting (or knowing how!) to sing and practiced until I was slightly better than bad. When I turned 18, I discovered Seneca College’s Independent Music Production program and enrolled in September 2018. At Seneca, I began to feel like I was being pulled in two musical directions; while I liked playing in a band, I was writing songs that either felt too personal for the group or weren’t good enough to make the setlist. This went on for about six months worth of shows before I decided it was time to leave the band and become a singer/songwriter/producer; I knew that my skills were woefully inadequate to be a professional, so I bought lessons. First, I found a book on songwriting (The Songwriting Secrets of The Beatles), then I took lessons for singing, bass, guitar, piano and music theory. More than anything, I used the internet to create my very own faux residency. This consisted of learning the albums of some of my favourite artists such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan and Oasis start to finish; I learned all the instruments, and sang along to the albums every day until I felt my voice was as good as the voice I heard on the record. I began writing more songs than I ever had before, and I recorded demos of these songs that caught the attention of Andy Humphrey, a Toronto-based producer and songwriter. Andy and I began working together on four songs, ‘I Love You ‘Cause You Make Me Feel Loved,’ ‘When I Saw Her Last,’ ‘If I Ever Do You Wrong,’ and ‘Wait!’. During this time I began playing bass in Megan Anne’s band, guitar in Clovercast, and became the music supervisor of ‘Rock Talk With Dr. Cropper,’ an Ontario-based podcast. My debut single, ‘I Love You ‘Cause You Make Me Feel Loved,’ is set to be released in June 2021, with follow-up singles in July, August and October. With over 100 songs that have been written since September 2019, I am now recording and releasing a series of singles, EPs, and bonus tracks as I raise funding for the recording of my first full-length studio album.
