After Today

After Today

Verse 1:
After today,
My whole world will change
Coz, there’s an empty chair that rests
in my garden

After today,
Your every word will stay
Like an echo of a prayer
Forever spoken.

Chorus: Coz After Today, I’ll be dancing with ghosts of yesterday
Replaying parts of movies that we made
to keep holding on to you.

Verse 2:
After today
It will matter much
That I gave you every piece of my heart

Coz After today
My need for gentle touch
will be locked up and lost
and frozen.

Chorus:Coz After Today, I’ll be dancing with ghosts of yesterday
Replaying parts of movies that we made
to keep holding on to you.

Bridge: I tell myself there’s no need to cry
Coz I’ll never really say goodbye

Chorus: Coz After Today, I’ll be dancing with ghosts of yesterday
Replaying parts of movies that we made
to keep holding on to you.

Always

Verse:
I want to say the perfect words that will make your day.
I want to do, all I can to make you feel good
Your laugh, your gentle hand,
your eyes that melt me with just a glance.

Chorus: And I want to be with you always.

Verse:
You, you are the one to make me stop instead of run.
you guide me to a place
of strength to make me feel that I'm ok

Chorus: And I want to be with you always

Verse:
You, you are a gift. From heaven you came to help me live
with hope, with joy with love
I am the one you are most proud of.

Chorus: And I want to be with you always

Just a Simple Thought

Just a Simple thought

Sometime
I can’t hear for thunder
sometime
every road I walk’s a wonder
sometimes
the grey won’t make way for me.

Verse 1 :
sometime
I’m like a blade of grass pushed by the wind
sometimes
I’m trampled by the smallest things
that sometimes
wouldn’t be a thought in me.

Chorus: Sometimes the sun will meet the storm.
and new thoughts will break; even this shroud of grey
and sometimes, everything will go my way.

Verse 2:
Sometimes
rain can make a brand new day.
but, Sometimes
I miss the rainbow, because I’m inside
and sometimes
I’m absent to the beauty around me

Sometime
I’m passion scorched and desiccated
and sometime
even roses thorn can penetrate
sometimes
love’s not the same colour to the blind.

Chorus: Sometimes the sun will meet the storm.
and new thoughts will break; even this shroud of grey
and sometimes, everything will go my way.

tag:

Just a thought of you makes everything goes my way.

Te Siento

Te Siento

pasan dias como anos
puedo el tiempo
Pero estas en cada imagen de mis sueños

los colores del invierno
pintan la soledad como un paisaje permanente
pero apareces siempre
para pintarme el mar.

Passing time, I’m in tears
When my days last like year
But you are the brightest image when I’m dreaming

And the colours of the winter,
Paints a scene so grey, and lonely days of solitude
I think of you and this view turns to a brilliant blue

Ahhhhh…

all the days pass like years
And the time can be so cruel
But if your smile appears everything changes hue
Like a wave you surround me
I feel you
I feel you
I feel you

Biography:

Sweet SantaFe's infectious Cuban Trova style rhythms get you up and dancing, and their cinematic lyrical scenes paint vast and vivid landscapes of life.

The incendiary spark for Sweet SantaFe began during a Spanish/English choral music cultural exchange in Havana Cuba where Cuban born Michel Rivero Mordoch a Trova style songwriter and Southern Alberta songwriter Penelope Christine Baxter first met. Their distinct sound evolved as they wrote together in a small fishing district named Santa Fe. These two seasoned songwriters listened and learned to speak each others language through song. Thus was born Sweet SantaFe.
